At Pooja For You, we want every devotee to feel confident booking with us. This policy explains when you can cancel and when refunds are issued.
Our Commitment: If we fail to perform your puja as promised, you receive a 100% refund. No questions asked.
1. Cancellation by Customer
Before the Puja is Performed
- More than 24 hours before scheduled muhurat: 100% refund, no questions asked
- Between 12 and 24 hours before muhurat: 75% refund (to cover pandit preparation)
- Less than 12 hours before muhurat: 50% refund (pandit is already preparing)
After the Puja is Performed
Once the puja has been performed in your name (sankalp complete) and you have received the live video recording, no refund is possible because the service has been fully delivered. This is in line with standard practice for spiritual services.
2. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a booking if:
- No pandit is available for your chosen muhurat (we will offer a reschedule first)
- Payment fraud is suspected
- The booking violates our Terms of Service
In all such cases, 100% refund will be processed.
3. Refund for Add-ons (Prasad, Raksha Sutra)
- Before dispatch: Add-on amount fully refundable
- After dispatch: Add-ons are non-refundable once they have left our facility (they are consecrated and cannot be resold)
- Damaged in transit: Full replacement at no cost if reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence
4. How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@poojaforyou.com with:
- Your payment ID (from the confirmation email/SMS)
- Reason for cancellation
- Preferred refund mode (original payment source — usually automatic)

5. Refund Timelines
- Acknowledgement: Within 24 working hours
- Processing: 2-3 working days from approval
- Credit to your account: 5-7 working days depending on your bank (UPI/cards) or 7-10 working days for netbanking
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account, or wallet.
6. Dissatisfaction Refund
If you genuinely feel the puja was not performed as described, contact us within 7 days of the scheduled muhurat with specific concerns. We will investigate with the assigned pandit and the live video recording, and issue a full refund if we find the service lacking.
7. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Your personal belief that the puja "didn't work" — spiritual results depend on many factors beyond our control
- Inability to join the live video due to your internet or device issues (we provide the recording)
- Add-on items that have been dispatched from our facility
- Bookings where false or incorrect information (name, gotra) was provided by the devotee
8. Disputes
Any disputes arising from this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [YOUR CITY], [YOUR STATE], India.
